Celebrating our Photographer of the Year Awards 2024
More trophies than ever at the 2024 Photographer of the Year Awards – did your photographer claim one?
September 2024, saw our summer party and annual Photographer of the Year Awards being celebrated at one of our favourite venues, The Cotswolds Water Park.
With photographers spread across the length and breadth of the country, these company get togethers are eagerly awaited by our staff who are keen to party with their peers.
New award categories were created this year providing more opportunities than ever for a trophy to be won. In addition to our regular awards for best newcomer, creative or documentary shots, reflecting the growing popularity of these type of images, our photographers can now compete for best drone or animal focused shot. Everyone loves a stunning aerial photo or pet picture!
All our photographers get to compete in this prestigious competition, submitting their most creative or well composed images, in the hope of winning in one of our categories or ultimately picking up the overall prize for Photographer of the Year!

Celebrating the winners and a busy summer for NicheCom
We’ve done our best to include a shot of everyone that picked up an award. There were unfortunately a couple that weren’t able to attend but you’ll be able to see all the winning entries below.
Creative Photography
Creative photography is what sets us apart from the crowd and our photographers never miss an opportunity for an eye-catching image. An additional award was given to Ellen for pushing the boundaries and ‘taking creativity to another level’. Swipe to view all our winners and runners up in this category:
Documentary photography
Documentary photographs are considered to be a factual representation of part, or all of a property or capture the size, layout, fixtures/fittings or location in a single image. With so many great entries, it was hard to pick out the winners.
We love animals
As a nation of animal lovers, it’s clear that pet photos have become everyone’s favourite. While dogs and cats are perennially popular, we’re happy to capture any four-legged friend, friendly farmyard animal or even a posing peacock!
Drone photography
With the growth in popularity of aerial imagery, it was high time we created a separate category to reward the most stunning drone shots. Each year the bar is raised so we’re delighted to present the first winner of this new award.

And saving the very best until last, winning the most votes overall, was Allen for capturing the serenity of these rolling green hills. Just imagine taking in the views on a summer’s evening with a gin and tonic in one hand!
We were delighted to be inundated with entries, but it made it harder than ever to shortlist the best. Please join us in congratulating all of our photographers on producing such excellent work over the last 12 months!
