NicheCom announce appointment of new Head of Video Editing
In a quest to stay ahead of the curve with our video products, NicheCom is delighted to announce the appointment of Luan Storm, our new Head of Video Editing.
Since 2019, NicheCom has been pushing forward with the roll out of video across the company and as a product, it has been evolving at pace, with a growing number of formats created to meet the varied marketing needs of our clients.
Back in the 2019 launch year, we shot just shy of 150 property videos. By way of comparison, last month alone, we completed over 1,500 videos.
We’re hugely excited with all the avenues video can take us down and we’re eager to offer the best video products on the market to our clients. Over the course of the next few years it’s extremely likely that video will become a core product of the housing market.
NicheCom’s Managing Director, Peter Burnham, said “We’re delighted to have Luan on board. We have taken our time on this hire, as it was crucial to find a creative and versatile digital storyteller, who is also capable of managing projects from concept to completion. Luan’s extensive knowledge and expertise in capturing, editing and producing professional camera footage, sound design and graphics will sprinkle some stardust on our suite of video offerings and I can’t wait for our clients to see the results.”
Luan joins the team with many years of industry experience in all aspects of media, photography, videography and graphic design. He has worked with all manner of client and briefs.
Luan will be working closely with Head of Training and Development, Jonny Wanders, and our board of directors to bring the latest video product offerings to the market. He will be looking into new techniques, graphics, formats and kit with the aim of amplifying the visual potential of our video footage.
He will also be working with our excellent, existing editing team to build improved processes and helping those in the field supply them with the best possible raw footage.
His initial priority will be to take the premium video format to the next level, to meet the growing demand from agents for a more cinematic and creative offering. However, in time, Luan will have deep involvement in the full gamut of video formats from the briefest of teaser to the most bespoke longer form product.
Luan said “I am thrilled to be heading up NicheCom’s new video department and to be driving their creative vision forward. I’m confident that within weeks, we will be able showcase some exciting new content that will raise the bar with our visual storytelling.”
