Niche Communications have provided a range of marketing services from their Berkshire head office for over 20 years. Initially servicing the property industry the company has expanded to offer a variety of marketing, digital and energy services to a diverse range of companies including Premiership football clubs and charities.
We have over 100 employees based in the UK and South Africa. This includes 70 people nationally, providing estate agents with detailed floor plans, professional photography, Energy Performance Certificates and property inventories.
Our South African subsidiary, (Niche Communications SA), based in Cape Town, provides a vital production service to our UK clients. CAD drawing, photo manipulation, as well as brochure design and production are all undertaken here.

On the 14th May 1994 a young and eager floor planner armed with a tape measure, paper, pencil and a thirst for knowledge completed our very first floor plan sketch, Niche Communications have gone on to produce over a million RICS compliant floor plans.
Major advances in digital SLR cameras saw us turn our attention to photography towards the end of the millennium. We added a number of graduate photographers, some of which are still here today and enhanced our floor plan offering by introducing a range of professional photography options.
The introduction of the ill fated HIP in 2007 presented us with an opportunity to expand our service offering further. Our 20 floor planners and photographers went ‘back to school’ to sit their DEA Diplomas. With a further 15 graduates also recruited and trained, we now boast the largest employed group of multi skilled field staff in the UK. We can service virtually the whole country with Floor plans, Professional Photography and Energy Performance Certificates all carried out within a single visit.
In 2011, and following the same employed business model we expanded our service offering again by adding detailed Property Inventories, Check-in and Check-out Reports

Niche Data was developed to change the way UK Residential Address data could be accessed for research and list delivery. The system provides real time delivery of the latest residential address data which is updated on a monthly basis.
The system was initially developed to provide our customers with a sophisticated yet simple to use interface from which they could create, amend and download ‘on the fly‘ any of the 30 million UK residential addresses that the system holds (the system also contains 43 million individual records relating to those 30 million addresses).
Now the Niche Data ‘data engine‘ is available to list providers and large data users allowing them to dramatically improve their productivity levels whilst simultaneously increasing client service levels by instantly running lists and counts for their clients. As an added benefit a white label version of the site can be provided for direct client access.
